This Center accommodates 144 children and includes indoor play areas, activity spaces, food preparation area, administrative offices, conference/resource area, and a secure outdoor playground. The use of tactile and sensory materials helps children engage the built environment and provides playful surroundings. The design of the building systems and security creates a safe environment, while the use of indirect and natural lighting offers ambient illumination in each classroom.
